When Mandy first told me about her wedding in Carmel I immediately thought of a story book wedding in Carmel-by-the-Sea with it’s natural scenery, beach, and culture…. so, when i discovered the wedding was actually up the valley in a summer camp (Douglas Ranch), I was pleasantly surprised. A ranch wedding! Or, should I say summer camp wedding! How cool is that. Wedding Camp!

I think this is such a great time of year for portraits at Port Gamble… the fall color is just starting to come out there, which makes it even better. Mike + Jessica. Manresa Castle, Port Townsend WA

This wedding combined two of my favorite things…. Flying, and photographic story telling. The aviation theme of this wedding, was icing on the cake for me… in case you didn’t know, I’m a pilot. And so is the groom. Cool! And the magic of Mike and Jessica’s fairy tail wedding takes off from there. Did I mention this wedding was at a castle… how cool is that!
