What to Expect

Appointments.

To schedule an appointment, just call, email, or complete the form on the contact page.

Then we'll send you a secure online link to book and pay your session fee. Once your appointment is reserved, we'll pick a location for your shoot.

Location, Location!

My location sessions are all about capturing you as an individual. The best way to accomplish that is to let you choose a location that fits your unique personality. Choose a location in Kitsap County, such as Port Blakely on Bainbridge, Port Gamble, Point No Point, Downtown Poulsbo, etc. If you prefer a more urban setting, consider a Downtown Seattle session, where we will explore Pioneer Square's cool brick alley ways, Pike Place Market, and the Seattle Public Library (yes, the library... it's a great picture location). These locations are only sugestions, feel free to make it your own and pick a location that works for you. If you are unsure, I can help you decide.

Weather or Not.

Shooting in the rain can be a lot of fun! And, it's a great opportunity to get some amazing, UNIQUE, images! However, if the weather becomes an issue, we always leave the option open for you to reschedule, at no additional charge.

What to wear?

Bring as many outfits as you want. But, for the sake of time, try to keep it to five outfits or less. You can also bring accessories... like, hats, scarves, hair accessories, jewelry, pets, cars, musical instruments, sports gear... anything that helps define who you are. More on what to wear....

Wardrobe Changes.

We will be photographing you on location. You will need to be prepared to make outfit changes. Most seniors use their car, since restrooms are not always available on location. It's a good idea to wear a solid color cami/tank so you can make quick top changes wherever we may be.

Friends.

Bring your best friend, mom, sister, or all of the above and make it a party! Having a friend along will help you relax and have fun. The result will be amazing pictures of you.

Professional makeup and hair.

Girls, I strongly encourage you to have your makeup and hair done prior to your session! If you plan on getting a haircut, try to schedule it a couple of weeks out so that you have time to manage any dislikes. We can arrange to have some amazing hair and makeup artists work with you, to create more stunning images for you, not to mention a more enjoyable experience. Ask for more details.

Good Times!

It's fun to get your pictures taken. I'm pretty laid back... so you can relax and have fun. I take lots of time to get relaxed photos. Be prepared to spend about 1 hour for each location plus travel/change time in between.
